Not a bad turn out for a Wednesday night in Bellingham the comedians put on a heck of a show to kick off the week. One comic didn't show up for the first show for unknown reasons, but it did't stop Toby Roberts from winning the night as he wore a see thru red satin/silk shirt with his belly button sweating through it through-out the night.   close

Latino comedy night was great in Yakima with Riggs making a monster come back to get back into the $1,000.00 race. The field is is now close going into Friday leaving one trash talking rookie comedian in the dust of no-mans-land who bragged about beating everyone because he was so funny. He was so funny he didn't even show up. WOW!    close

Over a 139 seats over sold for the Cloverleaf a new turnout record for this venue. Toby tore the paint off the wall and never looked back after an opening gritty gut check performance from Jen whom was sick with a viral cold. She showed the crowed and her peers she is no-joke when it comes to comedy no matter how sick she was, she can still throw punches with the best of them by jumping out of the cellar up one spot and Nigel having his best show yet, while Russell keeps finding a way to steal points to climb up the latter as Riggs loses his grip.    close

Congratz toToby Roberts, for winning the 2012 Shades of Laughs Inc. 6th Annual Comedy Competition for $1,000.00. Toby put his stamp on the trophy a day before the final night on the eve of a sold out Navy base for our troops. Toby destroyed the room during his 15min set receiving a standing-o! YES STANDING-O!!! With runner up from Virginia Mr. Russell Parker whom believes he can change the world?!? However, the most significant performance of the night was Nigel coming up and snatching the 3rd place trophy out of nowhere for an upset.    close
